I made this quilt when we lived in Thunder Bay. The sleeping giant is the name of a penninsula that stretches out into Lake Superior.

Stitched as we went through the millennium.  I remember working on it New Year's Eve 1999 as it went into 2000.  My husband had to man the generator that was set up just in case something happened ...there was a lot of fear at the time and relief when the computers did not stop.  Do you remember?
